Billing Rules
This page explains how tokens, subscriptions, refunds, cancellation, and account deletion work on Hookami. It complements the Terms of Service.
How tokens work
Hookami uses internal tokens to power request-based AI features such as Forge, ViralBlueprint, Pre-Publish, Frame Studio, and other tool-based workflows. Each request consumes a number of tokens that depends on the feature, the model used, and the size of the input or output.
Tokens are stored in a single account balance. The balance is shown in your account interface and is updated in real time as you use the product.
Sensei chat does not consume internal tokens. Sensei usage is governed separately under fair-use allowances, described below.
Sensei chat allowances and fair use
Access to Sensei chat is included in paid plans (Creator, Master) under monthly fair-use allowances, designed to support typical daily creator workflows.
Fair-use allowances are not unlimited. Specific monthly limits are shown in your account and may change over time as infrastructure, models, and product capabilities evolve. Where we change allowances, the change applies going forward and does not retroactively reduce usage already consumed.
Free accounts receive a smaller daily Sensei allowance, as stated on the pricing page.
We may, in a future version of Hookami, introduce a paid add-on that lets you extend Sensei usage beyond your monthly fair-use allowance. If we introduce such an option, its mechanics and pricing will be described here before activation.
Where tokens come from
Subscription plans include recurring token grants based on the tier you are on. These grants are added to your account balance on a recurring basis while your subscription is active.
You can also purchase additional token packs at any time. Purchased token packs are added to your account balance immediately after payment is confirmed.
Token expiry
Purchased token packs do not expire while your Hookami account remains active.
During the launch period, subscription token grants are added to your account balance each billing cycle and do not automatically expire at the end of that cycle.
Hookami may introduce rollover limits or expiry rules for future subscription grants, bonus tokens, or promotional tokens. If we do, we will describe the rule before it applies and, where required by law, provide notice before a material change takes effect.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless they are cancelled.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your account settings.
Cancellation stops future renewals. You retain access through the end of the current billing period. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current period.
Free trial
Where offered, a free trial lets you evaluate Hookami before paid access. Trial length, eligibility, and the conditions that apply at the end of the trial are shown at signup.
Refunds
Token purchases are generally final once the tokens have been delivered to your account, except where required by law (including statutory consumer rights), in cases of billing error or fraud, or where Hookami support approves an exception.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may have mandatory statutory rights, including a right of withdrawal in certain circumstances. Where digital services or token deliveries begin immediately after purchase, you may be asked to expressly consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that your withdrawal right may be reduced or lost where applicable law permits.
Account deletion
Deleting your Hookami account permanently removes account access and your remaining token balance. This action cannot be undone.
Active Stripe subscriptions are cancelled automatically as part of deletion, so you are not billed for further renewals.
Changes to these rules
We may update these billing rules over time as the product evolves. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes before they take effect.
